We purchased our first PRE, 18 month old gelding Conquistador XXX from Yeguada Lago in September 2008. We had owned part breds but this was our very first pure bred, we both found Charlotte and Margaret extremely helpful. Little did we know that this was just the start of th ejourney with these majestic horses!! It was always our intention to show jump and we quickly found out our young PRE had a fantastic athletic jump. We have since been back to Yeguada Lago and purchased 4 youngsters, a mare and a foal. All of these have superb movement, temperament, been easy to break in and are all proving to be very talented. We keep in contact with Charlotte and she is always pleased to hear how her youngsters are progressing. We would highly recommend others to look into purchasing quality British Bred PRE’s from Yeguada Lago.
